Saints Row information leaked … but what information?

Popular actor, comedian, and podcaster Jay Mohr may have finally done something worse than firing Jerry Maguire. On Twitter, Mohr made it clear that he was about to record some new voice overs for “the new Saints Row game”. To provide further proof, Mohr tweeted it along with a picture of the recording studio with what looks like the Saints Row cast on a video screen. It’s certainly no surprise that Mohr is recording for the game, fans of the series will remember that he played Dane Vogel, Head of Special Projects for Ultor, in Saints Row 2. Although the character has yet to return to the series, the model was included in Saints Row IV, but had no lines.

So which is it? Is Jay Mohr in the studio recording DLC voice over for Saints Row IV, or can we take the words at face value? If so, would they be creating a fifth installment in the series so early? It was only four months ago when Saints Row IV was hitting shelves, and Mohr may not understand the difference between “new game” and DLC. Hell, even some publishers have a hard time with that difference.

*UPDATE: Deep Silver would not comment on this situation.
